“I was given Nicky’s name by a friend who had success with the advice and timing provided by Nicky. I have had 7 IVF treatments and 4 AI treatments over the past few years and only 1 of them worked. At 41 years of age I didn’t have much time left"

Article on Fixed Stars and Fertility

It is a strange, but oddly familiar story. A couple will try to have children for sometimes years on end, and finally after giving up, they go away on a holiday and conceive entirely naturally and without any effort.

What is happening here? What “agent” is active in the successful conception. Many professionals have tried to prove the impact of stress on fertility and have been successful to some degree, but conceptions still happened throughout both world wars, and without the interference of IVF or other more modern interventional methods of conception.

Some stress is positive, some stresses take a bigger toll on the system, psychologically or otherwise, and astrologically, there is no indication that stress in the form of a Saturn or Pluto transit actually negatively affects the outcome. My research informs me that sometimes when there is a death in the immediate family, there is actually a good chance there will be a conception and likewise during really stressful busy times, the body often goes into an adrenal mode of being, where it imagines that there is a famine or a war going to happen and the production of eggs and hormones actually steps up and can produce an unexpected conception.

But what is up with the holiday story? Is it because usually we choose to hang out in warmer climates, take off our clothes, lie in the sun, rub suntan lotion all over erogenous zones?? Have afternoon naps? Have a cocktail before lunch? Forget about work, the house, the daily grind?

I would like to suggest not. It is a feature of fixed star work, that the stars are location based. They rise and set with degrees of latitude at different places all over the globe at different (seasonal) times of the year. So, in other words, the same stars will rise and set with the Sun at the same degree of latitude each and every year at that place at the same time.

If your annual holiday time at home is in the suburbs of Birmingham, and you never go away on holiday, the stars that rise and set during this time of relaxation are always going to be the same stars. If you decide to go to a different location, such as Spain, then the stars will be very different at the same time of year.

When a star rises or sets with the Sun, it is said the “walk with the mortals on earth”. Its energy and star mythology touches the earth and infuses the location with the stories and the narrative each constellation contains. So at any given time on the earth there are places where sad stories are happening and places where great stories are unfolding, places where earthquakes and mayhem rule and places of death and destruction. There are places where you will find babies and places where you will find the Law and the establishment, there are places where you will have luck and places where martyrdom and victimhood are the order of the day. During the course of a year, and with the rotation of the earth around the sun, these locations and stories exchange places with one another, so each location gets a turn at having a lucky time or a time of destruction and grief.

So, if one were to maximise one’s chances at conception for instance, it would make better sense to go to a place where babies are. Or where there is the potential for luck, or the grace of God to unfold.

Astrology software such as Starlight will be able to give star risings and settings for different locations at any given time of the year, by simply choosing a location for a “baby-making” holiday, that has fertile stars and star mythology rising with the Sun during the time you intend to stay there, will increase your chance at success.

My research has demonstrated time and again that the star energy that walks with the mortals is a powerful one and permeates our internal calendar as do the seasons and the changing of the colour of the leaves in Autumn.
